We have some whitewater kayaks, paddles, and gear available on a first come first serve basis so don’t worry if it is your first time and you have no gear. All closed-deck whitewater boats are welcome. Space in the pools is usually limited to a certain number of boats, which is another reason to arrive early.

If you are interested in getting into whitewater kayaking, try out the sport at our pool sessions where you can practice your paddling strokes and learn to roll. For experienced paddlers pool sessions are a good opportunity to brush up on skills including your freestyle moves in warm water.

Our pool sessions are fun, informal, social events. Come join us for some paddling and get out of this cold weather to relax and socialize in the hot tub.

Please read this waiver through before attending as you will be required to sign it in order to take part: http://vankayak.org/docs/vkc-trip-waiver.pdf
